Oh my! Your toddler grabbed the nappy cream that you thought was out of reach. She had a wonderful time smearing it all through her hair before you walked in. How do you get this oily, sticky mess out of her hair?
Lather your child's hair with shampoo and add half a handful of BAKING SODA to the suds. Rinse carefully to avoid baking soda getting into your child's eyes. Repeat the process 2 or 3 times, if patience allows. It may take 2 days of washing to remove all of the nappy cream, depending on the amount in the hair.
Baking soda also works well to remove Vaseline and other petroleum-based products.
